Sileks open the new season today with a home match against Bashkimi. After the current Cup holders suffered an unfortunate elimination from the Conference League at the hands of Dinamo Minsk, they are now focused on the start of the new season.
According to coach Aleksandar Vasoski, the goal is the same as last season – to win at least one trophy in this championship as well.
„The goal is the same as last season – to win at least one trophy and for the team to play in Europe again. We will try to finish as high as possible in the table, while in the Cup we want to reach the final,“ Vasoski said.

Despite losing Darko Dodev, who moved to Kazakhstan, as well as Miguel Pires, who joined Vardar, Vasoski is confident that Sileks have a competitive team capable of challenging for the upper part of the table.
„Several players left, but I believe we brought in suitable replacements for them, and I believe we are once again a competitive team capable of challenging for the upper part of the table. If the opportunity arises, we will certainly go for the championship title as well, but we will wait and see how the championship develops,“ Vasoski said.
The Kratovo coach is cautious ahead of the match against Bashkimi.
„Despite Bashkimi having problems, starting their preparations late and losing key players, we will not underestimate anyone. We are going for a triumph today at our stadium in front of our fans, and the problems our opponents are facing will not deceive us. I will demand that the players give their maximum in every match and remain fully focused so that we can win as many points as possible,’ Vasoski concluded.
The match between Sileks and Bashkimi kicks off at 17:00.
