The nineteenth round of the Macedonian Football Championship will close with the match between Makedonija GJP and Tikveš. The host team has no room for error this spring and its task is to win as many points as possible to continue to have the status of an elite club.
Tikvesh started the spring well. With a 6:0 victory over Shkupi, and then played a great half against Shkendija when they took a 1:0 lead. However, the champion ultimately left Kavadarci with points, making a 1:4 turnaround.
The Kavadarci team will actually be going on an away trip for the first time this spring, because the duel against Shkupi, although on paper they played away, was actually played at their stadium.
„"This is one of the key matches of the season for us. We simply have to get into the top half of the table, and we are preparing to win the three points today. We played poorly in the second half against Shkendija and it is right that we show against an opponent that we are worthy of what we are and where we stand," says Kristijan Ackovski.
