At the invitation of the president of the Football Federation of Macedonia, Masar Omeragić, the UEFA president, Aleksander Čeferin, is paying an official visit to FFM today.
The visit represents yet another confirmation of the excellent relations between FFM and UEFA, both at institutional and personal level. Macedonia’s „House of Football“ is highly valued within the European football family, while the presence of Aleksander Čeferin further highlights the support for development processes in Macedonian football.
Together with the head of European football, the delegation also includes Zoran Laković, UEFA director of national associations, as well as Denis Bastari, UEFA head of national association development.
As part of the visit, the UEFA president, Aleksander Čeferin, will hold a high-level meeting with representatives of the Government of the Republic of Macedonia, with Prime Minister Christian Mickoski and the Minister of Sport, Borko Ristovski, after which a working meeting will also be held at the „House of Football“.
The discussions will focus on future directions for advancing football in Macedonia, from the implementation of major infrastructure projects to the further development and support of youth categories.
Aleksander Čeferin is regarded as a great friend of Macedonian football, and his visit is a clear confirmation of the commitment of FFM and President Omeragić to the continued development and promotion of football in the country.
In addition, the visit is expected to contribute to deepening cooperation through new concrete projects and initiatives under the umbrella of UEFA, with the aim of creating better conditions for the development of football at all levels.
