The Macedonian national team is preparing for the first play-off match against Denmark for a place in the World Cup for the second day at the "Petar Miloševski" training center. Our national team player, Aleksandar Trajkovski, emphasizes that the team must approach the match as seriously as possible.
The striker, who scored the historic goal against Italy in Palermo four years ago to qualify for the 2022 World Cup final, believes that the new energy in the team can bring a positive result.
„"With a new coach comes new energy and a new vision. I think we will prepare well for this match. Yesterday I joined for the first time and I really saw a great atmosphere and quality training. If we continue like this, we will be maximally prepared," said Trajkovski.
He emphasized that focus and concentration will be key against a strong opponent.
„"Denmark may be the favorite on paper, but we have shown that we can play against anyone. I believe in this team. Statements from their side can only motivate us further," added the striker.
Trajkovski does not hide that this match has special meaning for him.
