AP Brera defeated Arsimi 2:1 at home in Strumica. The guests opened the scoring, but AP Brera scored an important three points in the 7th round of the First MFL.
After the opening minutes of testing the strength of both sides, the visitors first threatened in the 12th minute, when Shefit Shefiti fired a shot at the home team's goal, but goalkeeper Vrgov was up to the task. Arsimi threatened again in the 24th minute, Besagić entered the penalty area and shot hard, but the ball ended up over Vrgov's goal. The best chance to change the score again came from Shefiti, who went alone in front of the Brera goalkeeper, but his shot ended up wide of the goal.
Brera responded through Facht, who beat Arsimi's goalkeeper, but Stojanov failed to send the ball into the net and it ended up out of bounds.
In the 33rd minute, the score changed, Shefiti assisted Besagić, who managed to defeat Vrgov 1:0.
When the end of the first half was expected, Brera tied the score at 1:1. After a corner kick from the left, Stefan Numceski jumped highest into Arsimi's penalty area and headed the ball into goalkeeper Islami's net.
In the first action of the second half, Brera took the lead 2:1 after Mile Todorov's precise shot from 18 meters. The same player had the opportunity to score a second goal, but his shot ended up in Islami's post.
On the other side, Taipi shot from 7-8 meters wide of the Brera goal. Goalkeeper Islami stood out with an excellent intervention in the 56th minute, when he prevented a real "bomb" from Todorov from ending in the net. In the 67th minute, Velii crossed into the dangerous zone, but Besagić was not precise and the ball went wide of Vrgov's goal.
Arsimi threatened on several occasions, but the result remained unchanged. In the eighth round, Arsimi will host Shkupi, while Brera will visit Rabotnicki in Skopje.
