Arsimi's team finally recorded its first victory in front of its home crowd, defeating Shkupi in a quality match full of pace, excitement and many chances on both sides.
Already in the 2nd minute, Suhel Muharemi assisted Riberio who scored, but the goal was disallowed after a VAR review due to offside. In the 15th minute, Shkupi countered through Rikov, but goalkeeper Siljanovski made a sure save. Just a few seconds later, Ramadan Ramadani opened the score for 1-0 with a powerful shot, a goal also confirmed by VAR.
In the 22nd minute, Ramadani threatened again from distance, but Meliqi made a masterful save. Two minutes later, Ignjatov hit the post, and immediately after that, Shefiti was stopped by the visiting goalkeeper. Shkupi managed to come back in the 35th minute when Riberio, with a great reception and precise shot, equalized at 1-1.
However, before the very end of the first half, Argjent Ghafuri made a wonderful assist, and Shefit Shefiti brought a new advantage with a Euro goal – 2-1.
The second half started in the same rhythm, with open play and chances on both sides. Goalkeeper Meliqi saved Shkupi's goal several times after shots by Shefiti and Asani. But in the 74th minute the penalty came – Rychkov assisted, and Ardit Destani scored the goal for 2-2.
Arsimi did not give up and in the 84th minute regained the lead. After a cross from Asani, Ignjatov headed home for 3-2. Just three minutes later, Shefiti was fouled in the penalty area, and from the penalty spot he converted for his second goal and the final victory of 4-2.
