Arsimi defeated Shkendija of Arachinovo at Chair

Arsimi recorded their second victory of the new season after securing a convincing 0-2 win away to Shkëndija Aračinovo at Chair. The hero for the visitors was substitute Kaba Jakupi, who scored both goals.

Although the hosts enjoyed possession, the visitors were the first to threaten, through Olaesebikan from distance. The red-and-blacks then improved their play and created a series of chances in front of Siljanovski’s goal.

Adili tried from distance, Kerim went for a header, while towards the end of the first half Sharkoski appealed for a penalty after a challenge by Džemaili, but referee Pileškov and the VAR room did not react. Nevertheless, the visitors from Čegrane had the clearest chance of the first half. Captain Aljbin Ramadani broke clear in front of Stoleski in the 35th minute, but shot over the bar.

After the restart, Ramadani found himself one-on-one with the goalkeeper, but waited too long and Arsimi’s first chance of the second half went begging. Just four minutes later, Mehmed shot from a tight angle, but Siljanovski rose to the occasion and kept his goal intact.

In the 54th minute, Ramadani delivered a cross and Ličina risked scoring an own goal, but still prevented a certain goal in front of Contreras. Nine minutes later, substitute Kaba Jakupi also found himself in a scoring position, but Stolevski was in the right place.

In the second duel between Jakupi and Stolevski, the visiting footballer came out on top, finding the target with a stunning strike and bringing enormous joy to the visitors. In the closing stages, Jakupi once again found himself at the centre of attention, beating Stolevski again to seal the final 0-2.
