Arsimi will begin the new season in the First Macedonian Football League with an away match against Tikvesh in Kavadarci. After a successful debut in the top flight, the team enters its second season among the best with a clear objective: a place in the upper half of the table.
Ahead of the opening match, Arsimi coach Vildan Saliu expressed his satisfaction with the work done during the preparation period.
“After several weeks of intensive preparations, I can say that we are satisfied with the way the pre-season phase went. The players worked with maximum commitment at every training session, showing discipline, professionalism and a desire to improve every day,“ Saliu said.
During their preparations, Arsimi also played several friendly matches, which served the coaching staff to test their tactical ideas and improve the team’s cohesion.
“The results of these matches were important, but even more important was the progress the team showed from day to day. Of course, there are still areas in which we can improve, but that is normal at the start of the season,“ added the head coach of the Gostivar-based team.
Saliu stressed that the entire team is fully focused on the opening match against Tikvesh.
“Our focus is now entirely directed towards the opening of the season against Tikvesh in Kavadarci. We have the utmost respect for our opponents and know that a difficult match awaits us, but we have confidence in the work we have done during this period. I believe the team is physically, tactically and mentally ready to start the season in the best possible way.“
Saliu concluded by saying that Arsimi will give its all to represent the club and its supporters with dignity.
“We will give our maximum on the pitch to represent the club, the city and our supporters with dignity. We hope that with commitment, character and a competitive spirit we will achieve a positive result in Kavadarci and start the season with a winning step. In the new season, Arsimi wants to continue its development and establish itself as one of the serious candidates for a place in the upper part of the table in the First Macedonian Football League.“.
The match will be played at the City Stadium in Kavadarci, with kick-off scheduled for 5 p.m.
