Bojan Miovski: Belgium is a top team, but we proved that we play as a team

The Macedonian A national team is preparing for the upcoming 2026 World Cup qualifiers against Belgium (October 10, Gent) and Kazakhstan (October 13, Skopje). Glasgow Rangers striker Bojan Miovski believes that these matches are some of the most important in the recent history of the national team.

"We know what kind of team we are playing against. We are already in the final phase of the qualifiers, and so far we have shown that we know how to play football and that is why we are in this situation. We are currently first in the group, we have a goal difference of eleven to two. If someone had asked us before whether we wanted to find ourselves in this situation before the qualifiers, of course we would have been satisfied, but the work is not done yet. We know that not only this one, but also the last two matches against Kazakhstan and Wales are some of the most important in recent national team history.

"The first match is against Belgium, and we know what kind of opponent we are playing against. We are aware of their strengths and weaknesses. We have a lot of support from the fans, we know that there will be a lot of them, so I think they will see great football. Belgium is a great team, where ninety percent of the players play in the top five leagues. But we play as a team, we proved that."
