The FFM Coach Education Centre in Dojran began training and delivering lectures to a new generation of candidates for the UEFA A licence.
The programme was delivered in 3 Modules. The first focused on theory, presented by the Education Centre director Borche Hristov, Professor Zhikitsa Tasevski, Professor Vujitsa Zhivkoviq and Macedonia U-21 national team head coach Goran Stanikj.
Goran Spirкoski gave a presentation on the Laws of the Game, while Dr Mihajlo Ivanovski covered the prevention and treatment of sports injuries.
For most of the training, the candidates had the opportunity to work with guest from Serbia Miloš Milojević, an eminent coach of more than 20 European teams (Crvena Zvezda, Malmö, Hammarby, Landskrona, Al Ain, Víkingur, Brann, Breiðablik, Al Wasl, Sharjah and Mjällby).
With him, the candidates examined different types of playing systems, periodisation, and offensive and defensive transitions.
The module was filled with a range of new content in line with the new UEFA coaching convention. With Goran Stanikj, they worked on analysing their own and the opposing team, as well as, of course, practical work on the pitch.
The total course consists of 180 hours, with 60 hours per Module. Among the participants are former national team players Stevica Ristić, Vlade Lazarevski, Ferhan Hasani, Ilija Nestorovski and Stefan Spirovski.
