In today’s match against Bashkimi in the 29th round of the PMFL, Shkëndija must find a way to claim all three points. The reigning champions cannot afford a mistake if they want to remain in the title race with Vardar, who moved four points clear for the time being with yesterday’s victory over Tikvesh.
The Tetovo „red-and-blacks“ have already beaten Bashkimi twice this season and have the „recipe“ for victory, hoping to apply it today as well and once again reduce the gap to one point with their biggest rival for the title this season.
Shkëndija goalkeeper Baboucar Gaye believes that matches against such opponents are the most difficult and that the team must remain focused from the first to the last second, adding that the team’s aim is to win the double this season.

The most dangerous matches are against teams fighting for survival because they always find motivation against those teams competing for the highest positions. We must be focused from the first to the last second, avoid making mistakes and control the game. Our goal this season is the double, namely the championship title and the Macedonia Cup trophy,“ said Gaye.
