In the latest edition of the Football Federation of Macedonia podcast, the guest is one of the most experienced Macedonian internationals, Darko Velkovski.
The footballer, who has enjoyed a rich and successful career, speaks openly about his beginnings, the most important moments of his professional journey, and the experiences he gained over the years in Macedonia and abroad.
Velkovski first attracted the attention of the Macedonian football public as a 16-year-old in a Rabotnički shirt, when he played against Italian giants Lazio. He began his career at Makedonija Gjorče Petrov, continued at Rabotnički under Goran Petreski, and later played for Vardar, Rijeka, Al-Ettifaq, Dinamo Bucharest and Zrinjski Mostar.
He is one of the few Macedonian footballers to have played at both the UEFA European Under-21 Championship and the UEFA European Championship with the national team, and wherever he played, he won titles and trophies.
Today, at the age of 31, he is once again part of Vardar and crowned the 2025/26 season with another championship title.
