The derby of the round in the First Macedonian League, played today in Struga between Struga Trim Lum and Vardar, ended without a winner, 1:1.
In the first half, both teams had several threats, but Vardar was the first to take advantage of the more serious opportunity. In the 13th minute, after a perfectly executed corner kick, defender Matić found his way into the penalty area and hit the net with a precise shot. That was the only goal in the first half, so the "red-blacks" went into the break with a minimal advantage.

In the second half, Struga took the initiative, while Vardar pulled back and tried to preserve the advantage. The hosts crowned the pressure about ten minutes before the end, again after the break. After a free kick, Maleski was the most composed in the mix, sending the ball into the net for a final 1:1.

Towards the end, Vardar had a great chance for a new lead through Bosančić, but his shot in the final moments of the match ended up hitting the post.
In the end, Vardar remains undefeated in first place, and after 20 matches played, the "red-blacks" have 52 points at the top of the table. Struga is third with 43, but Shkendija (second with 45 points) and Sileks (in fourth place with 35 points) have a game less.
Tomorrow, the remaining matches from round 20 are on the program, with Arsimi hosting Makedonija GP, and Tikveš hosting Sileks.
