The Football Federation of Macedonia aims to build a safe, pleasant and inclusive environment for all children and youth who play football.
The FFM Educational Center recognizes the key importance that coaches have in child protection. It considers the professional development of coaches as an important part of creating a safe and pleasant environment in which children will train and fall in love with football in order to develop, enjoy and build healthy life habits. The role of the coach in youth categories is crucial in building a healthy attitude towards sport throughout life. Child and youth protection education for coaches is aimed at raising awareness of the importance of protection and improving protection practices.

As part of the seminar for coaches held in Dojran, a workshop was held on June 1st, covering the following topics: what is violence and types of violence, recognizing signs of abuse, specific risks for children involved in football activities, and how to respond appropriately to doubts or concerns related to child protection. The workshop took place in a constructive and interactive atmosphere in which coaches who are being educated for the UEFA C license shared their experiences and acquired new knowledge.
Football is more than a game! With its incredible power, it attracts a large number of young people who start training. It is the responsibility of all adults involved in the game in any role to make football a safe place to play and enjoy.
