The Football Federation of Macedonia (FFM) and President Masar Omeragić hosted Elkan Mamadov, Director of Associations and Development at FIFA and one of President Gianni Infantino's closest associates, today at the "House of Football".
As part of the visit, the high-ranking FIFA representative held a working meeting with the President of the FFM, Masar Omeragić, and the Secretary General, Leonid Jandreoski, at which they discussed the current activities of the Federation, the strategic priorities for the development of our football, as well as the current and future support from the World Football Association.

The discussions focused on advancing development programs, infrastructure projects and strengthening the national team system. Particular emphasis was placed on the importance of good governance, transparency and a long-term vision as the basis for the sustainable development of football.
President Omeragic expressed gratitude for the continued support from FIFA and emphasized that the FFM remains fully committed to reforms and projects that contribute to the progress of Macedonian football at all levels.
"Elkan Mamadov's visit to our federation, is a strong confirmation of the excellent cooperation that the Football Federation of Macedonia has with FIFA. The support we receive is extremely important for the realization of our strategic goals, especially in the area of infrastructure and strengthening the national teams. In that regard, discussions are underway to organize a visit by FIFA President Gianni Infantino in the first half of 2026. During the visit to the "House of Football" and the meeting with the FFM leadership, FIFA's Director of Associations and Development, Elkan Mamedov, highlighted the progress that the Football Federation of Macedonia has achieved in the past period under the leadership of Omeragić.
""It is impressive what the Football Federation of Macedonia, under the leadership of President Masar Omeragić, has achieved in just one year. In Doha, at a joint meeting with FIFA President Gianni Infantino, FIFA's support for key projects that are essential for the further development of Macedonian football was already discussed."

Elkan Mamadov's visit is another confirmation of the good cooperation and strong partnership between FIFA and the Football Federation of Macedonia.
