At the "House of Football", the leadership of the Football Federation of Macedonia (FFM), the president, Masar Omeragić and the secretary general, Leonid Jandreoski, met with the Ambassador of Spain to Macedonia, Rafael Soriano Ortoz, the deputy head of the mission in our country, Paula Navajo Gomez, and a representative of the Spanish LALIGA, Esteban Casado.
The representative of LALIGA, one of the top European football leagues, promoted the project "Spanish-Macedonian Football Dictionary", an illustrated publication that offers a wide football vocabulary in both languages and is used as a tool for communication, education and connection between fans and young people.
"Football is a universal language that connects people and cultures. By collaborating with institutions like the FFM, we want to build long-term partnerships that will enrich it. the football stage and will bring new opportunities for young people", Esteban Casado pointed out.
Among other things, the meeting also discussed opportunities for future cooperation, especially in the area of education and development of young coaches, through cooperation programs with LALIGA.
"The visit of the LALIGA representative and the Spanish ambassador is a strong confirmation of the value of cooperationso and the mutual respect that exists between our football communities. Andinitiativeto promote "Spanish-Macedonian football dictionary" goes beyond the field and connects it football with education and cultural exchange.
It is particularly important to us that the talks also opened up space for potential cooperation in the area of educating young coaches, in partnership with Spanish clubs. in cooperation with LALIGA. We believe that investing in knowledge and experience is the best way to ensure the sustainable development of our football.", stressed the Secretary General of the FFM, Leonid Jendreoski.
The FFM expressed gratitude for the visit and openness to specific projects in the future, in the area of education, exchange of experiences and development programs inspired by the positive examples of La Liga.
