An inclusive tournament was held today at the Petar Miloshevski Training Centre as part of FFM’s grassroots activities.
Eight schools from Macedonia took part in the tournament, four of which were for students with atypical development.
The tournament featured Primary School Vancho Prke from Shtip with one team each in the men’s and women’s categories, Primary School Marko Tsepенkov from Skopje represented by one team in the women’s category, as well as Primary School Dimitar Makedonski from Skopje and Primary School Dimitar Miladinov from Skopje.
Also taking part in the tournament were the Iskra State Secondary School from Shtip with one team each in the men’s and women’s categories, the St. Naum Ohridski State Secondary School with two teams in the men’s category, the Kliment Ohridski Special Education and Rehabilitation Centre from Novo Selo, Strumica, with a team in the men’s category, as well as the Idnina Special Education and Rehabilitation Centre from Skopje, which was represented by a men’s team.
As in previous years, several matches were played, many goals were scored and there was plenty of entertainment for each of the more than one hundred students who took part in the tournament.
FFM extends its special thanks to all the participants and their teachers, and will continue to support football activities for all people with special needs, thereby reaffirming its strong commitment and determination that there is a place for everyone in football.
