The Football Federation of Macedonia is one of two European associations selected to participate in UEFA's pilot project for the exchange of knowledge and experience in the field of club licensing.
The initiative, supported by UEFA, provides a platform for the exchange of information between licensors and aims to encourage cooperation between them, offering them the opportunity to share information and knowledge from other environments in order to strengthen the club licensing system in Europe.
Within the framework of the project, the licensing department at FFM hosted David Peradalta Negre, club licensing specialist at UEFA, and Ivančica Sudac, responsible for club licensing at the Croatian Football Federation (HNS).
At meetings at the "House of Football", the implementation of the club licensing system was discussed and experiences were exchanged that could contribute to the further development of the club licensing system in the country.
Ales Zavrl – UEFA Head of Club Licensing:
"UEFA’s new programme for the exchange of knowledge and experience in the field of club licensing has highlighted the benefits and importance of facilitating cooperation between licensors (licensers) at European level. During the three-day visit to the FFM club licensing department, we had the opportunity to conduct a comprehensive review of the system and I believe that the exchange of information, knowledge and experience will further strengthen the implementation of club licensing in the country.".
Ivancica Sudac – Head of Club Licensing at the Croatian Football Federation:
"I consider this UEFA program to be extremely important as one of the most significant business-oriented projects of UEFA in the last two decades. The project aims to improve the system of work of European clubs and football in general.
During the meetings at the Football Federation of Macedonia we exchanged a lot of useful information and experiences from our work. From the very beginning I felt very enthusiastic about the project and thus had the opportunity to share my personal experience from the licensing department at the Croatian Football Federation, our knowledge and the projects we are focused on. In your federation, we also saw a lot of will, dedication and enthusiasm from the top management, to the licensing department.
I am really glad that the program will continue in the coming months, and we will also host our colleagues at the beginning of next year in Zagreb to continue discussions and exchange of experiences, ideas and challenges. I am more than convinced that we will improve our work for the benefit of our clubs and further motivate them to develop and strengthen their operating models and thus create the prerequisites for more successful sports results.".
