FFM in the final phase of the procedure for implementing the VAR system in Macedonian football | FFM

The football
The Football Federation of Macedonia (FFM) is already in the process of implementing a VAR system.
in Macedonian football, which will be a significant step in modernization
of the First Macedonian Football League (PMFL).

Within the framework of
procedure, FFM has already received offers from companies specializing in VAR
technology and is currently in the evaluation and selection phase of the most appropriate
bidder.

This process
is carried out in close coordination with FIFA and UEFA, in accordance with all
international standards for the implementation and use of the VAR system.

Dejan Jakimovski – project leader for VAR implementation:

"We are
convinced that the implementation of the VAR system will contribute to greater
transparency and quality in organizing competitions. 
This project
is an important step for our league and it not only provides support for
referees, but we also create conditions for better functioning of the clubs, in
direction of improving the existing stadium infrastructure and the requirements for
setting up platforms for TV cameras, in accordance with the needs for the implementation of
VAR

As part of the process, the FFM project team holds regular working sessions with FIFA. The last one concerned the assistance program and
implementation approval (IAAP) and sharing of best practices after
regarding VAR implementations. The topics covered were related to thetechnological
the infrastructure and logistics required for the system, the training and development of judges for
working with the VAR process
of approval (licensing) according to FIFA's global standards.

That means
that from the next competition season, VAR will be part of the matches
in the First MFL.

FFM remains
dedicated to improving football infrastructure and creating conditions for
fair and equal treatment of clubs.
