The Macedonian futsal team has won its opponents for the World Cup pre-qualifications.

The Macedonian futsal national team begins its path to the finals of the World Championship to be held in 2028 by participating in a pre-qualifying tournament.

Our team is part of the C competition and will face the national teams of Lithuania, Turkey and Bulgaria to continue the World Cup qualifiers.

The tournament is hosted by Lithuania, and a place in the next round is secured by the winners of the first two positions, and according to the calendar, the matches are scheduled from the sixth to the 15th of April.

A total of 36 teams from Europe will participate in the main round, which will be divided into 12 groups of three national teams each, and in this phase, matches will be played on home and away grounds.

The Futsal World Championship will be held from October 7 to 29, 2028, and FIFA has not yet determined the host.
