The Board of Directors of the Football Federation of Macedonia (FFM) at today's session decided to select a new coach for the Macedonian A national team. The new coach has been named Goce Sedloski.
The members of the highest body of the FFM made the decision to select a new coach of the Macedonian A national team upon the proposal of the Committee for the Selection of a Coach, composed of Masar Omeragic - President of the FFM, Goran Pandev - Director of National Teams, Nikolce Noveski - Head of the FFM Scouting Service, Agim Ibraimi - Member of the FFM Board of Directors and Marjan Stojkovski - Vice President of the FFM.
Goce Sedloski is one of the most recognizable names in the history of Macedonian football. As a footballer, the former national team captain achieved 100 performances and scored 8 goals for the national team, making him the first Macedonian footballer to record 100 appearances for the national team.

Sedloski also has previous experience in the national team coaching staff. In August 2012, he led the Macedonian A national team as acting selector in the friendly match against Lithuania in Skopje (1:0).
In his coaching career, Goce Sedloski worked as an assistant and acting coach of Macedonia, and at the club level he led Horizont Turnovo, Vardar, Riga (Latvia), Široki Brijeg (Bosnia and Herzegovina), the second team of Dinamo Zagreb (Croatia), Shkupi, Vlaznia (Albania) and Rabotnicki.
In his coaching career so far, Sedloski has won three championship titles, with FK Vardar in the 2015/16 and 2016/17 seasons, with FK Shkupi in the 2021/22 season, as well as Cup title with FC Vardar in the 2024/25 season.

As a footballer, he had a rich career playing for several clubs in Macedonia and abroad. He began his professional steps in Bratstvo Gorno Konjari and Pitu Guli Kruševo, after which he played for Pobeda Prilep, where he attracted attention with his performances. He continued his career in Hajduk Split and Dinamo Zagreb in Croatia. Sedloski is also the first foreigner to wear the captain's armband for Dinamo Zagreb. He then played for Sheffield Wednesday in England. He supplemented his international experience with appearances in Vegalta Sendai (Japan), Diyarbakirspor (Turkey) and Mattersburg (Austria), building a respectable football career.
The Football Federation of Macedonia believes that Goce Sedloski's experience, authority and deep knowledge of Macedonian football will contribute to the stability, continuity and progress of the national team in the coming period.
The official promotion of Goce Sedloski as head coach of the Macedonian A national team is scheduled for tomorrow (Tuesday), starting at 11:30 AM, at the Hilton Hotel in Skopje.
