The Macedonian national football team ended the control match against Latvia without scoring.
Our team had several scoring opportunities, but unfortunately failed to capitalize on them.
"We wanted to win, but we didn't succeed. We were missing a goal, we had our chances, but the Latvian goalkeeper showed great performance with several key interventions. The positive thing is that we kept our net again. Today's football is like that, all teams are tough and aggressive. In Wales it can be even more intense, so we have to be prepared. We know what awaits us and what we are playing for, we will do our best to prepare for what lies ahead in Cardiff," said Tihomir Kostadinov.
The match against Latvia was the last test of form before the decisive match for second place in the group, which we will play on Tuesday against the Welsh national team.
