The Bashkimi team started the spring half-season well with one draw and one win, winning four significant points that bring them closer to their main goal - survival in the elite of domestic football.
However, the team from Kumanovo now faces a real test of its form, as it will face Vardar in the 19th round, in one of the two derby matches of the week.
The defense of Kumanovo will be under great pressure, facing the attack of the current leader in the First League. Vardar is the most efficient team in the championship so far, with 48 goals scored. Despite the difficult task, defender Esmin Lichina believes that Bashkimi has the capacity to equally oppose the favorite.
„"We are facing the Vardar team, which is currently the leader of the First League table. I can say that we started the spring part of the season quite well. Therefore, we will give our maximum, so let the team that will be better in this match win," said Lichina, among other things.
The match between Vardar and Bashkimi will be played at the stadium of the Football Federation of Macedonia (FFM), starting at 1:00 PM.
