The Macedonian U-14 national team played to a 1:1 draw against the corresponding Albanian team in the first friendly match played between these two teams at the FK Skenderbeg stadium in Korça.
The home team took an early 1:0 lead in the 15th minute through Alexandro Shofiti. In the second half, coach Goran Stankovski's team imposed their own game, created several good chances and deservedly tied the score at 1:1 in the 56th minute through Davor Tanevski.
The second control match between the youth teams of Macedonia and Albania is scheduled for June 19th.
