Macedonia U17 drew 0-0 with Georgia in Tbilisi

The Macedonian national under-17 team played a goalless draw, 0:0, in the first friendly match against Georgia played in Tbilisi. The coach's selections Vlatko Kolev had the best chance to win at the very end of the match. In the 88th minute, after a header by Andrei Cvetkovski, the ball was kicked off the goal line by the home players, leaving the initial score unchanged.

The two national teams will play their second friendly match on February 26. The Macedonian national team under 17 is preparing for the qualifying phase of the Elite Round for the European Championship. For a place in the continental championship, they will face Germany, France and Slovenia. The tournament will be played at the end of March, and only the winner of the first position will secure a place in the final.

The finals of the European Championship will be held from May 25 to June 7 next year, and will be hosted by Estonia.
