Tonight, starting at 6 p.m. in Brussels, the groups for the upcoming edition of the League of Nations will be determined by draw.
For the first time in history, Macedonia is part of the B competition and in the second half of 2026 will play six matches with exceptionally high-quality teams from the Old Continent.
The Macedonian national team, as a debutant, has been placed in the fourth pot along with the national teams of Sweden, Northern Ireland and Kosovo, who entered this segment of the competition as winners of the C League.
The seeded teams are Scotland, Hungary, Poland and Israel.
The second pot contains Switzerland, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Austria and Ukraine, while the third contains the national teams of Slovenia, Georgia, the Republic of Ireland and Romania.
According to the UEFA calendar, the matches will be played in September, October and November, but unlike previous years, the first four rounds will be played in about ten days.
