Macedonia GP expect their winning streak to continue

In the 31st round of the domestic football championship, Macedonia GP host Tikvesh.

The team led by Bobi Bozinovski will look to record another victory in the decisive clash for survival in the top flight, thereby extending their winning run in the final stages of the championship.

Macedonia GP won their previous two home matches against Shkupi and Rabotnicki.

In the first match, against the team from Chair, where they were nominally the away side, they quite deservedly recorded a 4-0 victory, while previously, in the clash with direct survival rivals Rabotnicki, they triumphed 2-1.

Macedonia GP are in a difficult position, with 30 points, six fewer than Pelister and AP Brera, who occupy places leading to a relegation play-off in the PMFL.

After the match against Tikvesh, the team from Gjorche Petrov face two difficult fixtures: away to Bashkimi in Kumanovo and at home against Sileks in the final round.

The outcome of the survival battle does not depend solely on Macedonia GP's results, but for the home team, three points are imperative in today's match.

Additional pressure on Macedonia GP comes from the fact that the two previous meetings this season ended in away victories. In February, the Kavadarci side recorded a 1-0 win in Gjorche Petrov, while in September last year Tikvesh won 2-1.

The match will be played at the stadium in Gjorche Petrov, with kick-off scheduled for 16:00.
