Tikvesh seek maximum points against Macedonia GP

Tikvesh entered the final stages of the season in a results crisis, and the turbulent period culminated in the dismissal of the entire coaching staff.

The Kavadarci side have recorded just one win in their last five matches, away to Struga, while they earned one point each against Bashkimi and Arsimi and suffered convincing defeats against Sileks, Shkendija and Vardar.

In their last three rounds, Tikvesh have scored just two goals, while their opponents have found the net 12 times.

Nevertheless, despite the run of poor results, Tikvesh are far from the relegation zone, while their advantage over the teams currently occupying the playoff places for survival is five points.

A potential away win in Gjorce Petrov would signal an exit from the crisis, while a defeat would deepen it further.

The fact that Tikvesh have two wins in their encounters with Macedonia GP fuels optimism that the poor run can finally be ended.

In the closing stages of the season, Tikvesh face matches against teams fighting to remain in the elite division.

Pelister visit Kavadarci next weekend, while in the final round Tikvesh travel to Skopje for a clash with Rabotnicki.

The match at the stadium in Gjorce Petrov kicks off at 16:00, with Plarent Salihi appointed as referee.
