Macedonia’s futsal national team secured qualification for the main round of the World Cup qualifiers after completing the pre-qualifying tournament in Lithuania with a perfect record.
Our futsal internationals recorded three wins in three matches, confirming their status as favourites and the quality of their performances at the tournament. In the final round, Macedonia defeated Lithuania 1-0. Janev scored the winning goal in the 14th minute of the match.
Earlier, Macedonia recorded a convincing 6-3 victory over Turkey, as well as a 4-2 triumph against Bulgaria, completing their campaign with nine points.
