Sileks extended their winning streak in the PMFL, recording their third consecutive victory. Bashkimi were beaten 1-0 in Kratovo today. The hard-fought victory for the Kratovo side was secured in the second half with a goal from the penalty spot, although it should be noted that Sileks had much more of the play and many more chances, ultimately managing to claim the desired points from a penalty.
Although the first half ended goalless, there were plenty of chances, particularly for Sileks, who threatened mainly through Dodev but could not find the back of the net.
Dodev had his first chance in the sixth minute, when he sent a dangerous ball directly at goal from a corner, but Yashar made the save. Sileks could have taken the lead in the 63rd minute after a double chance. First, Mishov tried following an assist from Eftimov, but Yashar made the save. In the same move, Angjeleski fired from 25 metres, but the ball rattled the crossbar.
In the 66th minute, Sileks had a chance as Aliq raced through on goal, while Lichina tackled from behind and was shown a red card, giving the Kratovo side a chance to take the lead from the penalty spot. Following the VAR checks, the penalty and red card were confirmed, and in the 68th minute Dodev converted from the spot to finally put Sileks ahead.
Sileks also pushed for a second goal, and in the 78th minute, after a lengthy attack, Eftimov fired inaccurately and well over the goal. That was the final chance of the match, which the home side won, continuing their battle for third place in the table.
