Struga Trim Lum will host the reigning champions Vardar today at 16:30 in the derby match of the third round of the First Macedonian Football League.
The Struga side say they are ready for the contest, while striker Hristijan Maleski believes his team can secure a victory.
„I hope it will be a high-quality and interesting match, a true derby in which we want to show the best of ourselves and, in the end, keep the points in Struga. We prepared for this match throughout the entire week and analysed the opponent well, so we will enter the clash fully prepared. I believe the entire team will give its maximum and that we will secure another three points in the season in front of our fans,“ said Maleski.
The striker was also the scorer of Struga Trim Lum’s last goal in the matches against Vardar last season.
„I can say that I will give my maximum against Vardar. If I manage to score, there is no doubt that it will be a reward for what I show on the pitch,“ added one of Struga Trim Lum’s key players.
The derby will be played today, kicking off at 16:30 at the City Stadium in Struga, with Done Ristovski as the referee.
