The Macedonian national team under 21 has begun preparations for the new qualifying cycle. Our selection begins the new qualifying cycle for the 2027 European Championship with a visit to Poland on September 5, and then on September 9 in Bitola we will welcome Italy. Goran Stanić's players will face the favorites in the group in the first two rounds, which is just additional motivation for us. The young hopes at the Boris Trajkovski Stadium have completed their first training.
"It is normal to hope for great things and fight for the top spots in the table. We have a big challenge ahead of us, we are playing against two very serious and quality national teams, Poland and Italy. We, on the other hand, as a generation have a lot of quality and a great motivation to play our best. We are preparing very well and we are always happy when we are part of the national team, which is very important for the team spirit. In training and in matches, you can feel the unity and desire, and that means a lot. We are going to outplay everyone, we are going to win and bring joy to the fans," said Matej Gashtarov.
