The Macedonian A national team will host Liechtenstein tomorrow at 18:00 at the National Arena "Todor Proeski" in Skopje as part of the World Cup qualifiers. Our national team will try to achieve a home victory in the cycle, after the draws with Wales and Belgium.
At the official press conference, coach Blagoja Milevski stressed that Macedonia is the favorite on paper, but warned that this must be proven on the field.
"All players are healthy and ready. We have maximum respect for Liechtenstein and it will not be easy at all. As long as I am the coach, I will never underestimate any opponent. Our goal is clear, three points which are extremely important at the moment. I am satisfied with the performance of the players who debuted against Saudi Arabia. Luka Stankovski, Elmin Rastoder and Reshat Ramadani showed that they have quality and of course we count on them in the matches for points, said Milevski.
Captain Ennis Bardi, who also addressed the media, added:
"I think we will have a tough match, it was the same in Vaduz until we opened the score. We are all aware of what awaits us, we have made an analysis and we know what we need to improve. We are prepared for the match, and three points can mean a lot to us to finish this window in first place. Whenever we play for Macedonia, a motive is not needed, victory is our only goal."
After the away game in Vaduz, where Macedonia celebrated with a 0:3 victory, this will be the second match against Liechtenstein in the group, and for our team, a chance to delight the home crowd with a goal.
