The Macedonian national team will faced Belgium in third round of World Cup qualifying. At the press conference before The match in Skopje was addressed by the coach, Blagoja Milevski, together with the captain, Ennis Bardi.
Blagoja Milevski – coach of the Macedonian A national team:
"The analyses have been done, there is no need to talk about the quality of Belgium. They have a lot of quality players, it is a team that has been at the top of European football for years. On the other hand, Macedonia has shown that it knows how to fight even with such teams. I see no reason why it should not be the same in tomorrow's match.
We have to be at our best, and we'll see what that brings us. This June period has been problematic for us for years. As for the current situation, we have to change that mentality individually and as a team. What I have seen in the past seven days gives me the right to be optimistic that this June will be different. The mentality of the players is different than before, the atmosphere and energy are excellent. Regardless of the injuries, we have additional problems during these days. Alimi, Dimoski and Trapanovski are questionable, but I hope they will be able to play. I hope that physically we will be more prepared than in the past.".
Ennis Bardi – captain of the Macedonian A national team:
"I think we are ready for a quality opponent like Belgium. We know what it means to play at home, and we all have to take responsibility. We need to show that we are at home.
It's hard to beat us at home.. If we give our best, I think we can achieve a positive result.Belgium is the favorite on paper, but in football there is always a chance for a surprise. We have quality, many players play in quality leagues. We have experience and all the conditions to achieve success. However, for something like that, everyone has to believe in it. At home, in front of our fans, we have to chase a good result. Every time we have played as a team we have had positive results, so I don't see why it couldn't be the same tomorrow. There is no reason why we shouldn't be at the level."
