With two rounds remaining in the domestic top flight, Shkupi have already begun preparations for next season in the Second League. Nevertheless, every remaining match in the company of the country’s best is a tremendous and valuable experience for the young footballers from Chair.
One of the young players who have made an excellent impression with his performances during this period is talented goalkeeper Sefer Musliu. He believes that every one of his teammates must give their maximum in the remaining two matches until the end of this competitive season.
„There are two matches remaining until the end of the championship. Our next duel against Rabotnichki will be a major challenge for us, but that in no way means we will give up. On the contrary, we are defending the colours of our beloved club. We will give our all to cause a surprise with this young squad at our disposal at the moment,“ said Shkupi goalkeeper Sefer Musliu.
This will be the 46th meeting between Shkupi and Rabotnichki in total. In their history so far, the „Romantics“ have recorded 18 victories, Shkupi have celebrated 17 wins, while 11 matches have ended without a winner.
Their most recent duel went to the Debar Maalo side, who won convincingly 3-0, while Shkupi’s only point in this season’s meetings was recorded on 4 October last year, when the match ended in a draw (1-1).
The city derby between Shkupi and Rabotnichki will be played this afternoon at the Todor Proeski National Arena in Skopje, kicking off at 16:00.
