Three consecutive victories have lifted the spirits in the ranks of Shkëndija Aračinovo, who are seeking to extend their positive run against Skopje in the final match of the seventh round of the Macedonian Second Football League.
After their league triumphs over Bashkimi (2-1) and Bregalnica (1-0), the Aračinovo-based team also celebrated a 3-1 victory away to Detonit in the Macedonian Cup in midweek. Following a run of three away matches, Shkëndija Aračinovo welcome Skopje in front of their home supporters today.
„As in every match, we are going for the win this time as well. We know it will not be easy, but we must confirm everything we have done so far against Skopje and make our supporters happy on home soil,“ said Mile Todorov.
Matches between these two teams always produce entertaining football and plenty of goals. In their previous two meetings, Skopje first drew at home (2-2), and then also won away against Shkëndija Aračinovo, 2-1.
Today’s clash will be played at the stadium in Chair, kicking off at 16:00, with Done Ristovski appointed as the referee.
