The Management Board of the Football Federation of Macedonia (FFM) reviewed and adopted several agenda items at today’s meeting:
– The FFM Management Board adopted the proposal for the reconstruction of the space beneath the stands at „Nikola Mantov“ Stadium in Kochani, which will create better conditions for the operation of the clubs, officials and all participants in the competition process.
– The FFM Management Board adopted the proposal to determine the participation fees for the clubs taking part in the First and Second Macedonian Football Leagues for the 2027/2028 competitive season.
The Management Board decided that clubs from the First Macedonian Football League that fail to settle their financial obligations to the Football Federation of Macedonia will not be entitled to participate in the competition, while clubs from the Second Macedonian Football League with outstanding obligations will not be allowed to take part in the draw for the competition numbers for the new season.
Over the past period, the Football Federation of Macedonia has repeatedly accommodated the clubs by allowing them to settle their obligations on a deferred and staged basis under mutual agreements. However, a significant number of clubs failed to honor their obligations and the agreed payment schedule, which is why the Management Board deemed it necessary to consistently uphold financial discipline and ensure equal treatment for all clubs participating in FFM competitions.
– With a view to improving the organization of Macedonian football, the Management Board also adopted the FFM’s proposed system for regulating the organization and structure of competitions at national and regional level in senior football. In accordance with the adopted proposal, the territorial division of the Football Federation of Macedonia will be organized into six regions.
Region 1: Covers the municipalities of: Aerodrom, Butel, Gazi Baba, Kisela Voda, Gjorche Petrov, Chair, Karposh, Centar, Shuto Orizari, Chucher Sandevo, Arachinovo, Ilinden, Petrovec, Zelenikovo, Sopishte, Studenichani and Saraj.
Region 2: Covers the municipalities of: Lipkovo, Kumanovo, Staro Nagorichane, Rankovce, Kriva Palanka and Kratovo.
Region 3: Covers the municipalities of: Kochani, Makedonska Kamenica, Sveti Nikole, Lozovo, Delchevo, Pehchevo, Berovo, Novo Selo, Bosilovo, Vasilevo, Konche, Strumica, Radovish, Shtip, Karbinci, Cheshinovo-Obleshevo, Zrnovci, Vinica, Valandovo, Gevgelija, Dojran, Bogdanci and Probishtip.
Region 4: Covers the municipalities of: Veles, Gradsko, Negotino, Demir Kapija, Kavadarci, Prilep, Dolneni, Chashka, Rosoman, Krushevo and Krivogashtani.
Region 5: Covers the municipalities of: Bitola, Resen, Ohrid, Struga, Vevchani, Debarca, Kichevo, Plasnica, Makedonski Brod, Mogila, Demir Hisar and Novaci.
Region 6: Covers the municipalities of: Jegunovce, Tearce, Tetovo, Zhelino, Brvenica, Bogovinje, Vrapchishte, Gostivar, Mavrovo and Rostushe, Debar and Centar Zhupa.
