Ohrid and Sileks will decide their place in the final in the second leg

The first semi-final clash between Ohrid and Sileks ended without a winner after both teams scored one goal each.

Sileks started the match better and had chances through Mirchevski, Donov and Pires, while the hosts initially tried through Kalanoski.

The first goal was scored by Ohrid’s footballers. The excellent move, started by Dimitrij Dimitrievski and continued by Dimitrij Popovski and Naumche Bakraceski, was capped with a goal by Ivan Gligorov, who beat Ljupce Dzekov from close range.

By the end of the first half, the visitors from Kratovo managed to equalise. Darko Dodev made an excellent run down the left and managed to assist Adi Aliq. He headed the ball excellently past his direct marker and goalkeeper Serafimov in the 45th minute to make it 1:1.

In the second half, Ohrid managed to limit Sileks to one or two scoring chances, which the Kratovo side failed to convert.

Darko Dodev was involved in both. First, the winger broke through alone and found himself one-on-one with Serafimov from an angle, but shot directly at him; on the second occasion, he tried to assist Mishov but was inaccurate.

As we have already mentioned, the second leg of the Macedonia Cup semi-final will be played on 6 May in Kratovo.
