After recording two victories in the second and third rounds of the PMFL, the Bitola team returned to winning ways only after a break of ten rounds or a total of 77 days, celebrating a minimal 1:0 win against AP Brera.
This is Pelister's first triumph at the "Petar Miloševski" stadium, because one of the two aforementioned victories was away (against AP Brera), and the other (against Shkupi) happened when the team was hosting the stadium in Kavadarci, as their stadium was being renovated.
As has been seen on several occasions in recent matches, the Bitola team most often creates chances from a break in play or from shots and crosses from distance, and this is how they started the match this time: the first chance came after a cross by Mrmachovski, when Petkovski headed it, but over the goal, and later Bulatovic from the edge of the field, despite two guards, found Kerim in the penalty area (between four opposing players), for the latter to head the leading goal, which actually decided the match.
AP Brera had only one shot on Jovcevski's goal in the first half, and the shot was directed by Nzenge. The same player managed to score in the second half against Pelister, but the goal was disallowed due to an illegal position.
Pelister mostly converted its initiative into corner kicks, and several players found themselves in half-chances in such situations. Defender Zdravkovic threatened twice towards the end of the first half, while Stefan Spirovski had the same chance, but his header from a corner went over the bar. Two more chances can be mentioned towards the end: a cross from Ristevski to Petkovski who hit the goalkeeper, as well as a header from Belic after a corner kick taken by Spirovski.
In short, the Bitola club wanted victory more in today's match, the players gave their maximum (earning four yellow cards, compared to one for the guests) and managed to control this important match. AP Brera's apathetic play was punished in this case, and the new three points give life to Pelister in the fight for survival, especially after the defeat of direct rival Tikvesh by Vardar, in the second championship match played today in Skopje.
In the next three rounds, Pelister plays duels with the most threatened teams from the bottom of the table, Rabotnicki and Shkupi, and by the end of November they will also visit Arsimi, which is why this victory has great psychological significance for the Bitola club.
