Skopje and Tikvesh from Kavadarci played out a 1:1 draw in the match that opened the fourth round of the domestic championship. Antonio Bozhinovski scored for Skopje, while Nfanli Sila converted from the penalty spot for Tikvesh.
Skopje managed to control the game well in the first half and take the lead in the 34th minute. Andrej Cvetkovski made an excellent run down the right, while Antonio Bozhinovski was in the right place to find the net for 1:0.
In the 36th minute, there was a strong challenge on a Skopje player. Referee Furkan Idrizi initially showed Fahl a red card, but following protests from the visitors from Kavadarci and a review of the situation in the VAR room, the decision was changed and the red card was overturned.
Until the end of the first half, both teams tried to create further chances, but without a concrete finish.
Tikvesh were more aggressive in the second half and took the initiative on the pitch, searching for the equaliser.
In the 67th minute, following an incident in the penalty area after Papuli's intervention, Idrizi pointed to the penalty spot. After an additional VAR review, the penalty decision was upheld.
Nigerian Nfanli Sila made no mistake from the spot and beat Naumovski in the 70th minute to make it 1:1. The Skopje goalkeeper guessed the right direction, but the powerful shot was unstoppable.
Just a minute later, Tikvesh had another chance to turn the game around, but Naumovski made an excellent save.
In the 77th minute, Gudjufi unleashed a powerful shot after breaking through on the left, but the ball went wide of the goal.
Skopje tried to regain the lead in the closing stages. In the 83rd minute, Viktor Angelov had an excellent chance to score, but goalkeeper Stevkovski intervened successfully.
At the other end, Okere broke through on the left and sent the ball into the danger area, but there was no visiting player to turn it into the net.
There were no further changes to the score, so Skopje and Tikvesh shared the points in a final 1:1 draw.
