The Macedonian national team under 18 played 2:2 against their peers from Slovakia in a friendly match in Dunajska Streda. Our young players played well against the host team and deservedly won a positive result with good play.
Slovakia had a good start to the match and took a 1:0 lead through Filip Rajčan. However, our young players managed to make a complete turnaround before halftime, first scoring after a set piece in the 26th minute, with Mustafi's goal after a cross by Taleski, and then with a nice goal from distance by Iljazi in the 44th minute.
In the second half, Sejmenov missed 100% chances for 3:1, and the penalty came in the 56th minute when Novak equalized the score. In the 65th minute, goalkeeper Trajkov saved a penalty for Slovakia. Before the end, we had a chance to take a new lead, but Roci's shot ended up in the crossbar of the home goal.
