Organized by the Football Federation of Macedonia, the ceremonial awarding of FIFA badges for Macedonian international referees for 2026 will be held on Thursday, starting at 2:00 PM, at the Hilton Hotel in Skopje.
The event will be opened by the President of the Macedonian Football Federation, Masar Omeragic, at whose invitation the UEFA Chief Referee, Roberto Rosetti, will also be visiting Skopje. Rosetti, who is also the Commissioner for Referee Delegation within UEFA, will hold a lecture before the Macedonian referees.
The president of the Referee Board at the FFM, Emil Bozinovski, will also give a presentation, and more than 70 referees from across the country will participate in the seminar.
This is the first time that Macedonia and the FFM have been visited by a UEFA chief referee, at the official invitation of the FFM president, which is a strong confirmation of the reputation of the leadership of our federation and the active cooperation with European football institutions.
As part of the event, the FIFA badges of the Macedonian international referees for 2026 will be officially awarded.
„"This is a significant moment for Macedonian refereeing. The presence of Roberto Rossetti and direct communication with the highest level of European refereeing represent a huge opportunity for our referees. I believe that such events will contribute to further professionalization, greater responsibility and even better international affirmation of our referees," said Josip Barton, Commissioner for Referee Delegation within the FFM.
