The coach of the A national team, Goce Sedloski, announced the list of players who are in the combination for the upcoming play-off matches for the World Championship.
The national team leader will have 28 players at his disposal, including three who will wear the Macedonian national team jersey for the first time: Borac Banja Luka defender Sebastian Herrera, Tetovo Shkendija stopper Imran Fetai and Seattle striker Deni Musovski. The squad also includes players who are back in the top team after a break, namely Boban Nikolov from Vardar, Ljupce Doriev who plays in the Uzbekistan championship and Egzon Bejtulai from Drita.

That is why we have kept the skeleton of the team that played in the previous qualifying cycle. It is a group of players who know each other well, have built chemistry and already know what it means to play such a match. Of course, we have also made some refreshments where we thought it was necessary. There are three debutants on the list, Fetai, Herrera and Musovski. We believe that with the form and quality they are showing, they deserve a chance and that they can bring additional energy to the team. Doriev, Nikolov and Bejtulai are also returning to the squad, players who know the system and atmosphere in the national team well and who have made important contributions in the past.".
