Head coach Goce Sedloski and Macedonia captain Enis Bardhi held a press conference ahead of the upcoming match against Denmark, saying that Macedonia is facing a serious challenge, but is entering it with clear belief in its own qualities and team spirit.
Goce Sedloski — head coach of Macedonia:
„This is a big moment for all of us. We have a chance to fight for a place at the World Cup, and that is a motivation that unites the entire country. Denmark are a quality and respected opponent, but we are here for a reason too.
I see energy, concentration and desire in the team. The players understand the significance of the shirt, and I believe they will show that on the pitch. We are tactically prepared and know how we want to play, although the decision on the lineup and formation remains mine.
We are missing certain players, but that does not change our approach. Denmark are strong, but we are focused on our game. In matches like these, the details decide the outcome, and I believe we have something to show. Thank you to the fans for their support; it gives us additional strength.“

Enis Bardhi – captain of Macedonia:
„We have analysed them thoroughly and prepared for every detail. We are aware of whom we are playing against and what awaits us, but we also have our own strengths.
We learned important lessons from the previous matches, and they helped us improve as a team. The new players have fitted in excellently, and the atmosphere in the team is at a high level; we are functioning as one.
In matches like these, motivation is never lacking. Being underestimated only motivates us further. We always feel the support of the fans, and we will give everything we have to make them proud.“
