Chances for Struga TL, points for AP Brera

Incredible misses by Struga TL, and punishment at the end from AP Brera. That was the outcome of the match in Struga, in which the visitors claimed victory with a goal in the closing stages, in the 88th minute of the match, after they also had a numerical advantage on the pitch, as Struga TL received a red card.

Bledi Shkembi’s men had at least six clear-cut chances, but failed to score, while AP Brera eventually took the lead with one serious opportunity and ultimately claimed all three points.

The first serious chance fell to Maleski, who missed a sitter after a move involving Ilievski and Radeski. Struga TL’s goalscorer shot just wide from close range.

In the 34th minute, another chance for Struga came through Shabani, who struck brilliantly under the crossbar, but Dikovski tipped the ball over for a corner. In the 44th minute, Zendeloski shot just wide from 23–24 metres, while in the 45th minute Fal had a chance, followed by another excellent save from Dikovski.

The second half was quieter in terms of chances. The first excitement came in the 72nd minute, when Hamza was shown a straight red card. However, that did not prevent the hosts from creating a chance in the 79th minute, with a double attempt through Bojku and Shabani, but the ball eventually went out for a corner.

The 84th minute arrived when Ilievski’s attempt went just over the goal, and moments later Maleski had a shot, followed by another save from Dikovski.

The visitors’ punishment came in the 88th minute. Petrović made an excellent run down the left, got past several opposing players and beat Angeleti to give AP Brera the lead and victory.
