"Petar Milosevic" Stadium ready for a big match. Confirmation from UEFA – Macedonia vs. Italy in Bitola

The "Petar Miloševski" Stadium in Bitola has received official confirmation from UEFA and will host the qualifying match for the European Championship on September 9, in which the Macedonian national team under 21 will face the Italian national team.

The Football Federation of Macedonia (FFM), in cooperation with the Municipality of Bitola, implemented an investment worth around 150,000 euros in a period of almost 40 days, giving the stadium significant improvements and a modern look.

New chairs have been installed on the south stand, the tartan path (the space between the pitch and the stands) has been completely renovated and paved, the official rooms and media area are fully equipped with furniture and necessary equipment, new benches for reserve football players have been purchased, the VIP area has been arranged, and the stadium also received a donation from the FFM of a modern LED scoreboard.

Additionally, the field has been renovated with machinery and personnel hired by the federation, ensuring maximum readiness for the upcoming match.

With the investments and interventions made, the "Petar Miloševski" stadium meets European standards and becomes the host of high-level matches. This represents a significant step for the development of infrastructure and for the affirmation of football in Bitola and the region.

The investments are part of the FFM management's clear strategy for modernizing stadiums across the country.

What the head of the FFM, Masar Omeragic, promised, improving conditions and returning football to Bitola, is today a reality and strong confirmation that Macedonian football is moving in the right direction.

Masar Omeragic – President of FFM:

"The success in Bitola is an example for everyone. Thanks to the dedicated work of Mayor Konjanovski and his team in the municipality, in a short time we have brought the 'Petar Miloševski' stadium to new standards, which UEFA itself has confirmed. This is the best proof that when we work together, the results are visible."

Our next phase is to support the reconstruction process of the city stadium in Tetovo, thus continuing to fulfill our strategy to improve football infrastructure throughout the country."
