Struga TL cruise to a convincing victory over Bashkimi with an extra player in Kumanovo

A new, third convincing victory for Struga TL over Bashkimi this season in the PMFL, as Struga triumphed 0-4 on their opponents’ pitch today. The key moment in deciding the winner came in the 36th minute, when Bashkimi were reduced to 10 men following Hasan’s dismissal. Struga TL took advantage, taking the lead before half-time and then scoring three more goals in the second half to celebrate a convincing victory.

Bashkimi played excellently until Hasan’s dismissal. They had several good chances, Angeleti kept the visiting team in the game, but the home side could not match their opponents with 10 players.

Following a major defensive error, Alimi found himself with an excellent chance in the 9th minute and shot accurately, but Angeleti made an even better save and turned the ball behind for a corner. Alimi had previously had a chance in the 6th minute, but from a difficult position he failed to beat Jashar.

Another great chance for Bashkimi, and another excellent save by Angeleti in the 16th minute. Panovski received the ball on the right, made an excellent run and entered the penalty area, then laid it off to Or, who shot from 5-6 metres, but his effort was saved by the visiting goalkeeper.

Angeleti also saved Avornijo’s attempt in the 29th minute of the match.

Bashkimi were reduced to 10 men after Hasan was shown a red card in the 36th minute for a challenge on Maleski as Struga TL’s goalscorer threatened to break through one-on-one with Jashar.

Struga TL took the lead in the first minute of stoppage time. Vosha crossed from the right to Kompaore, who headed the ball past Jashar to give Struga TL the advantage.

The visitors from Struga dominated the second half, with Maleski having a chance in the 74th minute, when Jashar saved his effort from an ideal position.

However, in the closing stages, Struga’s numerical advantage on the pitch began to tell. Bashkimi no longer had the strength to defend, and in the 80th minute Kompaore received the ball on the penalty spot and shot first time. Jashar saved, but the ball bounced off the crossbar and crossed the goal line, and referee Pileshkov received a signal that it was a goal for the visitors.

Just two minutes later, Maleski scored to make it 0-3 after collecting the rebound from goalkeeper Jashar and placing it into the net. It was initially signalled as offside, but after the VAR review, the goal was awarded.

The fourth goal for Bashkimi’s net came in the 86th minute. Kompaore passed to Ilievski, who found himself in front of goal on the right, shot, and scored the fourth goal for the visiting team through Jashar’s legs, which was also the final score of the match.
