Tikvesh outclassed Arsimi

The Tikvesh team from Kavadarci returned with full spoils from their visit to Gostivar, after celebrating against Arsimi with a convincing score of 5:0, within the 21st round of the domestic football championship. The match was in complete control of the guests, especially in the first half.

Tikvesh took the lead in the first minute. After an individual action, Stojanov shot accurately and beat goalkeeper Islami. Initially, a possible offside position was signaled, but after the VAR check, the goal was recognized as 0:1.

The early goal was a strong blow for the hosts, who had a hard time finding their feet in the opening minutes. In the 9th minute, Guell scored from close range for 0:2, and the visitors' dominance continued with the third goal, by Luisianinho, who increased the lead to 0:3 and practically settled the question of the winner in the first half.

Arsimi had several attempts to get back into the game. In the 41st minute, Selmani hit the crossbar, and shortly after, Argyend Ghafuri had a good chance, but the ball ended up just wide of the post. By the end of the half, Tikvesh created several more chances, but the home goalkeeper prevented a more convincing result.

In the second half, the hosts tried to react. Fatjon Jusufi threatened with a strong shot, but goalkeeper Stevkovski was sure. However, after a mistake in Arsimi's defense, Sila scored a goal for 0:4, and just a minute later David Golubov increased the lead to 0:5.

This was one of Arsimi's weakest performances at home this season, while Tikvesh once again confirmed that it has a homogeneous and quality squad.

After this defeat, Arsimi is in ninth position with 26 points, while Tikvesh climbed to sixth place with 27 points.
