– The Board of Directors of the Football Federation of Macedonia, at today's session, decided to initiate disciplinary proceedings before the Disciplinary Committee of the FFM against the former president of the federation, Muamed Sejdini.
The procedure is being initiated due to a well-founded suspicion of fraud and misleading the members of the Board of Directors, related to the advance payment in the amount of 700,000 euros to the contractor company responsible for the construction of the grandstand at the "Biljanini Izvori" stadium in Ohrid.
The payment, according to the available documentation, was made on its own initiative, contrary to the decision of the Board of Directors and contrary to the offer and competencies, and without providing a bank guarantee.
The Board of Directors assesses that there are elements of serious violations of official duties and actions contrary to the interests of the FFM, which have caused negative consequences on the reputation and financial operations of the federation.
– The FFM Board of Directors has decided to form an ad-hoc committee that will conduct an audit of the educational process for holders of coaching licenses issued by the FFM Educational Center.
The audit will include checking whether the deadlines, procedures and criteria for attending and participating in educational modules, as well as the procedure for issuing coaching licenses, have been respected.
Among other things, the manner in which former coach Igor Angelovski obtained his PRO license will be examined, a review of which he himself requested.
