After a successful start and a convincing 6-0 triumph over Bashkimi in the first round, Sileks drew 1-1 away to Shkëndija Arachinovo in their first away match of the season, at the Chair Stadium in Skopje. Now, the Kratovo-based team wants a second victory of the season at home against Skopje in the First League.
Only three points are on the minds of the players from the Kratovo camp. Sileks goalkeeper Ljupche Djekov expects the team to play its trademark football and ultimately achieve the desired objective – victory in this match.
„We want to secure another victory at home. Sileks always go for three points, everywhere and against everyone, and it will be the same now. Last round, we played a tough match, which we ultimately did not win despite our objective being victory. Now we are returning home once again. We must play dominantly against Skopje and secure three points. Without underestimating our opponents, who have several experienced footballers, complemented by youngsters eager to prove themselves. However, I believe that we have the quality to secure our second victory of the season today,“ said Djekov.
The match between Sileks and Skopje will be played in Kratovo at 16:00.
